Who We Are

Kaplan Law Firm is a single attorney law practice based in Oviedo, Florida. We handle transactional matters—primarily real estate, business, and estate planning—and help clients make informed decisions during important transitions. The firm is led by Jeff Kaplan, an attorney with more than two decades of experience practicing. Our team includes Aaron, who manages our residential closing department and supports legal preparation, document handling, and workflow on real estate and business matters, and Stephanie, who oversees client experience, marketing and business development, and internal operations. 

What We Stand For

We believe legal services should be clear, efficient, and grounded in practical value—not just technically correct, but genuinely useful. Our work is guided by three core principles: integrity, responsiveness, and practicality. We take ownership of the details, avoid unnecessary jargon, and focus on solutions that support real decisions. We help clients understand their options, protect their interests, and move forward without getting lost in complexity. Whether we’re drafting a contract, preparing a trust, or closing a real estate deal, our approach is thorough, deliberate, and results-oriented. We ask the right questions and ensure the final product is something the client can actually use—not just something that checks a box.

We don’t just clean up problems—we help prevent them. We matter most when the legal work supports the decision-making, not just the paperwork.

  • Jeff Kaplan

    ATTORNEY


    Jeff handles all legal work for the firm, from contract drafting and real estate closings to trust design and business formation. With over two decades of experience practicing law in Florida, he’s known for his practical judgment, efficient execution, and ability to cut through complexity to help clients move forward with confidence.

    Jeff built Kaplan Law Firm to reflect what he values most in legal practice: integrity, practicality, and long-term trust. He doesn’t aim to be the biggest or the loudest—just the most reliable voice in the room when decisions matter.

  • Stephanie Wells

    DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS &
    DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT

    Stephanie handles the firm’s business operations, marketing efforts, and client-facing processes. She’s responsible for everything from scheduling and systems to digital marketing, social media, and referral outreach. She also plays a key role in shaping client experience—from first contact through post-engagement follow-up.

    Stephanie brings structure and visibility to the firm’s internal and external communication. She helps ensure the business runs smoothly so legal work stays focused, responsive, and aligned with the firm’s long-term goals.

  • Aaron Nedlan

    CLOSING MANAGER &
    LEGAL ASSISTANT

    Aaron manages all aspects of the firm’s residential closing department. From contract to closing, he oversees the entire process—including document preparation, title coordination, escrow management, and communication with agents, lenders, and clients. His attention to detail and structured workflow are a key part of what makes the firm’s real estate practice run efficiently and reliably.

    In addition to closings, Aaron supports workflow on real estate, business, and estate planning matters. He helps manage document preparation and internal processes that keep the firm’s transactional practice running smoothly.
